Cal Mex has never been better here than at this San Francisco-style burrito joint. The carne asada tacos are one of our faves, bulging with tender marinated steak. Don't forget to spring for the guac

Steak is way better than chicken, burritos are way better than tacos, and the hot sauce is seriously amazing.

2 people? Get 7-8 dishes. You'll be so full! I recommend the steak tartar, avocado relleno, duck rillette, goat cheese balls, brussel sprouts, short rib.... Pastrami ravioli and beef sliders = ok.
Hanger steak is the best tapa.
Everything is delicious! Some of our favorite dishes: boquerones, octopus a la plancha, fried hen of the woods, grilled wild shrimp, grilled hanger steak, lamb tagine.

Any place that advertises themselves as a 'Speakeasy' should be shut down automatically, but the service is good and the dry-aged steaks are tasty so I keep coming back.
One of the best porterhouses in the city, no joke. Creamed spinach with black truffle and Strip House potatoes are required sides. Can't miss with this place.

Great Cuban spot that often has live music. Bring a date and get the ropa vieja or the vaca frita, a pan fried skirt steak.
