Best time to go is around 10 am on the weekdays (super quiet). Sandiest place is by the active life guard stands. You won't have to worry about stepping on any coral if you enter the water by them.

We only made a brief drive through it on a bus tour, but it's a beautiful memorial that possesses a quiet calm that's as haunting as it is serene. There's a lookout that has the best view of Honolulu.
Well kept cemetery with lots of history. Walk to the look out for scenic views. No paths to walk back down to down town.

Off the strip. Across the street from a great park. Quiet. Coffee & tea from 6-10 and wine from 3-5. Towels, chairs, bikes, yoga. Five stars. A great place!

Important tip. The scenic view in the main tower is better than ocean view. Ocean view looks at parking +front of hotel. And can hear the generators. The scenic view looks at mountains and is quiet!

This is a great spot. A little less crowded than other parts of the Waikiki beach Highly recommend getting a $3 tube from ABC-this area is very calm and great to float. Great investment!
Take a short walk to Wal-Mart and buy a cheap $8 sun umbrella and $10 chair to use on the beach while you are there. Give it away before you leave and tell the recipient re-gift it when they leave.

Built in 1915, it is one of three Fort Derussy’s in the USA. Each were built during the American Civil War, and today it is a dedication to all the branches of the military.
Very nice update to an older hotel, interior design is great. Book "Quiet" rooms for best experience.
Really close to all the shopping and great restaurants but it’s quite a walk to the beach. It’s a very nice and clean hotel, would certainly stay here again.
If you are on a middle floor, get into the elevator regardless of the direction so that you aren’t crowded out. You could be waiting a long time otherwise with filled elevators during peak times!
