Houston Press: 2010 Best of Houston® Winner: Best Film Series: Regular midnight screenings run the gamut, with action flicks, classics, thrillers and the ever-popular The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Conrad Salvador: Best movie theater in Houston. Excellent film selections for Friday and Saturday midnight shows.
Mark Veary: First visit. Might be my last. Shabby and dirty looking place. Hope the film is better than the venue!!!
HISTORY: Paintings are abundant, but the lovely sculpture garden is also worth viewing. Film buffs love the museum for its weekly showing of classic and foreign films.
Derek: See a film here on any weekend throughout the year. They're usually a new independent film or a pre-release to a major film. Sometimes they have classic films on show. Find out more at mfah.org/films
Miriam Goldman: Go for the art, stay for a film.
Marlo Blue: Check out the annual South bY dUE East free music and filming festival every march!
Jenn: Very dive bar like! Best parking is on a side street, then walk to the bar. It's got a great vibe, a cool crew, great stage. Sometimes there is a cover charge - $10, call to see who's playing.
Brannon Lloyd: Total cover charge goes to the band, so $10.00 is more than fair most nights...
CultureMap Houston Manager: Perks for members include passes to sneak previews of new commercial film releases, year of complimentary admission to film screenings and invitations to social events.
Ayse: İ loved the funny french movies event, i have already seen 2, and the movies were great. No numbered seating, it is first come first serve, so come a bit earlier to guarantee a good seat.
Glenn Barnett: Bought advanced movie tickets, arrived early so $20 to park. MFA canceled show w/out an alert despite the fact that most of us purchased our tickets online and then MFA made refunds difficult.

Jenn: If Uptown Park had its own reality show, it would be called "The Fake and the Fabulous" and it would be filmed here. Mediocre sushi, great lobster soup, & great pours, great people watching here! $$$
Local Houston Magazine: This is the perfect place to get fresh sushi! The thinly sliced yellowtail with parmesan cheese, jalapenos, habanero tobiko, and ponzu sauce is definitely a fan favorite and a must try! Read more.
Kathy Jones: Wanna talk textures? Try the Jaime Roll and Sea Bass Sashimi! Lychee Martini and Pineapple Mojito quenches your thirst!

heather pray: The decor reminds me of a Dali painting or Tim Burton film. Ask about the coffee beans. Delicious cuisine. Perfect for biz & romantic dinners. Top the evening off w/ table side flamed tres leches!
Susan G: Had beef empanadas, a house cobb salad and tres leches cake for dessert. Everything was delicious!! And the decor alone deserves a visit.
