A great view of the bayou along TC Jester. Also, stop by iCycle just off of the trail on 18th. Expansion of the trail is happening as well. Love the dips under the roadways.
Enjoy the trail. Catch some good miles on this route. Don't mind the sewage smell from time to time. It's a part of the ambiance.

The Braes Bayou Trail goes from southwest Houston to the med center encompassing about 17.9 miles of trails. Love to run along these paths because it is a laid back spot compared to Rice campus.
A great long stretch of shared trails wide enough to ride along. This reaches from Southwest Houston towards the Medical Center. Improvements are made to make commuting better.
Goods scenic running and biking path both on the trail and on paved roadway; bonus is the ability to ride down to the lower level and ride along the bayou itself.
Well-lit and scenic trail with plenty of spots to rest.

As nice of a place as there is to run in Houston, with more shade and fewer people than Memorial Park
More trees/shade would be welcome! I love the trail, but I hate the inevitable sunburn (even with sweat-proof spf 55). Go early to prevent a not-so-awesome workout sunburn!
One of the great additions to the Houston Bikeway System that connects the Houston Heights heading towards Downtown. Hit up the Nicholson bike trial also!
