The Saffron Cafe is a lovely, intimate restaurant, perfect for a nice dinner for two or a dinner party with couple friends. My wife and I meet there for lunch on occasion. A lovely little spot.
It was great had a homey feel because its so small. Be adventurous I feel like its one of those places where everything on the menus is good!

Wonderful building and atmosphere! The staff will be happy to tell you about the history of this old carriage repair shop/warehouse. There is a GIANT fireplace in the middle. So cozy!!

It all amazing stuff. Just know that even for take out you can spend over 45 minutes to get your meal. Make sure you call ahead and order or plan to just sit down (if you can find the space).

Don't even read the menu. Just get the sliders and mac and cheese.... Okay fine read the menu for the drinks but skip the last page where the food is because you're getting the sliders and mac.
Definitely one of THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN INDY! I get white chicken chili usually, but the drunk chicken is AMAZING. Great people and great food, very cozy small business feel.

Best spot in the city for a mommy daughter date, like visiting "a real princess castle". Cake, adorable cookies & milk for kiddos. Decor is even more magical over the holidays. It is expensive though!
