Nice museum space, check out the lower for the modern pop-up exhibits, and definitely enjoy a stop at the restaurant.. Good food and views of the Bosphorus.
Great exhibitions. The museum store is also rich. The restaurant at the top has great scenery but is quite expensive.
Go to the Pera Museum and see two excellent exhibitions which are Picasso-Suit Vollard and Hippodrom. After your visit, take a break at the Pera Cafe while you are drinking excellent turkish coffee. Read more.

A beautil small museum in an old mansion with excellent view. A great exhibition space. When I visited it exhibited Miro so certainly worth visiting. The small permanent exhibition is interesting.

A great museum of Anatolian history. The most important pieces of antique ages are exhibiting in this museum.
If you are in Istanbul, I would recommend spending some hours in the museum. The exhibits, especially from the bronze and Iron Ages, were spectacular.

Came here on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised with the vast space and the bold exhibits. The bookstore on the top floor is one of my favorites on Istiklal Cd. and the garden is so charming!

The jewels exhibit is by far the best part!
If you visit here in the morning then do it early like 9:00 and directly go to the third garden to visit the exhibition halls to skip the line.

It is the research institute / gallery and book store in one. There are usually great exhibitions on. It is free of charge and is usually open during the weekend
Great, quiet little library upstairs. Guests of the institution can stay in the hotel rooms located next to the library.
