Go to Kirtipur & continue to Chobar for a half day retreat from chaotic Kathmandu. Kirtipur's hillside is sleepy while Chobar got a nice town view. Both have lots of small temples. Taxi Rs450-600.

Great for outing w/ friends with newly rebuilt Boudha backdrop. Churros were exceptional & addictive. Croissants are no less than those found in Europe! Highly recommended also for service & ambience.

One of my favorites in Kathmandu. Delicious grill menu, especially the Yaki beef. Great selection of mezze platters & awesome ambiance, especially outdoor seating. Highly recommend it!
