The burgers are the best in town. Better than some well known and loved chains. The service is very friendly. These guys really care about what they do.

Great space! Uper part more of a bar, and in the basement u have cozy couchs and is more confy athmosphere! Beer is great - Zeitgeist beeing my favorite, and the Whitechapel burger rocks also - lamb!

Grizzly bear burger (bacon jam and double oaked smoke bacon) by Burger Bear pop up is simply incredible. Top up with some angry fries.

Their chorizo chicken burger is perhaps the best chicken burger I've had in five years of living in London. Tonnes of chicken, tonnes of chorizo, avocado, and a sort of Mayo sauce. Highly recommended!

Re-launched in November 2011 and now sporting an exceptional range of craft beers. The food is good too - the sliders make for a nice lunch but the pulled pork burger is a thing of epic, meaty beauty!
Great sliders! (Especially lamb and feta) Also, if unsure about what to drink, ask the bar staff! They not only can recommend a great beer or cider on tap, but will even let you sample a few! Best Pub

Great little pub. Good beer selection on tap and in bottles. Good lunch spot as seems to be always quiet then. New menu: the fried chicken sandwich (think burger) is great.

Chicken avocado salad is ace, the oatmeal is great too and the burgers are huge. Our favourite place in New Cross. Great value too. Closed during August.
This is the best American-style rock bar in London plus the food is awesome, meaty and in healthy portions. They added pool tables and hot barmaids for good measure. Try the nachos.
Cheese and bacon burger is good and juicy. Maybe specify how you want it cooked to be sure. My other tip is to actually visit this pub. It made me feel young! Hadn't been since being student.

Just had burger here. Very nice. Beer very drinkable and loads of choice. Bar staff was great. Only one on as not busy on Sunday aft but very attentive and pleasant. Best I've come across in city
