They have a new chef who started in January 2014. Great gumbo, shrimp + grits, stuffed quail. Service was chaotic, but very friendly and the food is so good you won't care. There's a bar downstairs.

Great breakfasts! Never knew grits could be this good. Good veggie options (chilli eggs etc) & lovely pancakes. I plan to come in the evening & check out the veggie chilli!

Blue Plate are doing Saturday Specials where the focus is on food from a specific state. Today was Arizona & it was amazing - hit the spot on a hot day. Excellent selection of craft beers & soda too!
Can see a lot of movie stars , athlete and s lot of public figures over here . Great experience to stay close with them :) 3 hours is never enough for its visit :(

Get the shrimp and grits – garlicky, rich and delightful. Plus they have gluten-free buns and fries, kudos.
The highlight has to be the truffle Mac and Cheese. Superb starter! Buttermilk chicken was lovely and they make a nice Old Fashioned. Book ahead if you can as it fills up easily.
Had the special of the way, which was a salmon, green bean and roasted potato dish. Absolutely lovely. The dessert, which was a chocolate melt with butterscotch sauce, was rich but delicious.
The dim sum is awesome, the best in the area bar central London. Get very busy on a Sunday so get there early!

Better than those on Queensway or some in Chinatown, this is a hidden gem that keeps locals pleased on weekends. Try the bun, soups and the crispy duck.

Horrible sea bass. Horrible. Salty and chewy. Even the spinach is salty. They could have used it to grit the roads in Moscow.
Great cocktails anytime of the day. Fresh juices, gorgeous girls. Perfect pit stop if you are in the area. Try the Watermelon Punch in the evening and home made juice in the afternoon

Fun night out- bowling, drinks, music! The vegetarian chilli is seriously tasty. Don't order the cookie sandwich, major disappointment.
Absolutely loved it. Cocktails are delicious (Bloody Mary and the Nutella Martini). Food is just awesome!!! We took the Grillades w/ grit cakes. Everything was fantastic!! I highly recommend the place

Try the chicken wings & buttermilk chicken so moist and tasty. The huevos rancheros was delicious. Had the pleasure of meeting the head chef who was out the front of the Bayou at the bbq with samples.
Great atmosphere and food, but probably the first place in London to serve grits missed the mark a bit. Time for a southern road trip to help tweak the recipe. All the other items are great. +Popcorn
All their drinks are good but I do love the Earl Grey Martini. Pulled pork slider, truffle egg toast and mac n cheese are awesome. Menu changes but those are all staples

Just a classic breakfast! It was nice but not that special. I liked the detox smoothie, very refreshing. Not that cheap though!
I had the grits with girolles, pecorino and truffle oil, with fries on the side. Delicious! Quality food at a decent price. Can't fault it.
The baked eggs with chorizo is absolutely glorious. Flat white coffee is amazing as well (they roast their beans on site).
