There's a huge unofficial dog park on the other side of the basketball courts. SO many dogs; it's awesome! The playground is decent, plus plenty of picnic tables. It's a HUGE park!
I'm here often,the bench in front of the tennis courts w/the memorial plaque is in honor of my son a fallen soldier.Encino Park was where he & his friends would play basketball and have bbqs. <3

The atmosphere throughout the whole stadium is wild and crazy!! A lot of passionate soccer fans out in LA! Such a good team to follow and grow! GO LAFC!!

Nice indoor basketball courts, and they run pick up on Wednesday and Friday nights every week around 6pm. The 12-3pm crowd on Wednesdays during the summer can be a bit exclusive, though.

This is the beach for those who enjoy loud music, tattoos, extreme sports, and graffitti.
Great sandy beach with a broadwalk full of cafes, bars, street performancers, and some "Green" bars. There are lots of touristic shops. Ok to bike, rollerblade, play basketball or volleyball too.
A great place to play soccer! Turf field; it gets hot.
