Very nice swimming & sunbathing spot with warm showers. The "bathing suit dryer" won't get your suit dry enough to wear, but it will help carry it home in non-sipping-wet condition.

Nothing exceptional about the place even if it is more than ok. Ask rooms with a terrace. They have beautiful ones where you can get sun bathes without leaving the comfort of your room.
Request a Deluxe Terrace Room and enjoy the city views, sunbathe or relax on your personal extended balcony. Dining options are limited in the hotel but there are a few options NW of the property.
Hossein makes a great cappuccino for breakfast. Goes well with a small bowl of fruit. Hotel is fabulous.
Huge beach, beautiful people, do whatever you like ... laze on the sand, work out, skate, bike, walk, play beach sports, eat, go the the pier for entertainment all day and evening, just enjoy.

One of my favourite Surf Spots in/near LA. This wave doesn't get good that often but when it does it's great! The beach is not a great spot to sit as the PCH is just there behind you.

If you go early you can use meter parking and spend less money to enjoy an hour or so at the beach.
We found free parking on the sides of the road. Short "hike" down the hill and youre at the beach. Very nice. Not as crowded. Lots of Planes from LAX fly over.

If you fight the current, you’re going to lose. But if you go with the flow and then work your way slowly out of it, you’ll be fine. This is applicable off the beach, also.
