Try the baked goat cheese appetizer. Crab cakes and shrimp and grits were both excellent. Gander looks pretty casual but the food is definitely anything but!
The crab cakes are excellent. The white queso grits were a bit of a disappointment. They were good, but I’ve had better. They had whole kernels of corn in them which I don’t love.
Crabcake is most popular appetizer, but it's good, not great. Needs to be crispier on outside. Love the "simply grilled or blackened" style preparation. The mashed potatoes are fab!
Great service and environment to enjoy some seafood in. Crabcake was ok, but I prefer mine crispier on the outside than what I got. Overall, good place, if you are lookign for seafood.
Crab cakes are consistently an excellent choice and the grapefruit and basil martini is perfection!

Egg roll appetizers were awesome. Also tried the crab cakes and gumbo 👍🏼. Cool, unique atmosphere. Can't go wrong with anything your order. Service is impeccable. Nice staff.
