The carbonara chicken is really good. The hot chicken by itself is something like KFC's hot & spicy.

Pasta carbonara is delicious. Risotto was cooked to perfection. Pizza is delicious. hands down the best Italian in Melbourne.

Best pizza in South Yarra, friendly staff. Fan of the Calabrese. They also have a 1 meter pizza for those that are extra hungry.
Don't be afraid to ask for pencils so you can scribble on the brown paper table coverings. You can take your artwprk home too of you want!

The gnocchi quattro formaggi is lovely, I you can convince the waiters the that kitchen *can* make it. Tortellini carbonara also yum.

Universal has some of Melbourne's biggest, cheapest and best Italian dishes you can find. It's by far the best value for money place I have found that puts a smile on my face everytime!

Great service by the staff. The space upstairs is great for both sit-down and cocktail events.
My favourite dish of the five I ate was the hay baked carrots - such complex flavours for a normally humble vegetable. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding.
