We love this rooftop lounge for its views, sure: but the spiced duck “cigars” with pomegranate dipping sauce are the real reason we keep going back.

Modern and trendy hotel. Very nice but tiny rooms. Free WiFi! Absolute great location! Do not miss the sun rising on its rooftop (staircase B)! Highly recommended!

If god forbid you find yourself in midtown on a beautiful day, the rooftop here is lovely. Great cocktails, couches to park on, and some covered sections that still let you bask in the sun.

Pretty standard rooftop bar (💸💸💸) but service was great. Very friendly and patient while explaining the menu and giving rec.
This is NOT Grand Central Station. It is a public rooftop plaza at the corner of 3rd Ave & E 40th St. Quite relaxing on a Summer Friday at 5pm. Check it out if you have time to kill b4 a train.
Rooftop spot on 40th & 3rd. Great spot to get away from the office or enjoy your lunch break. Gets extremely crowded during normal lunch hours, especially between 12:30-1pm

This private-but-open-to-the-public rooftop terrace is one of the the best-kept secrets in midtown east! Take the elevator to the 14th flr and walk up to the 15th. BYOB.

Definitely the coolest NY rooftop experience. They do a retinal scan and probably save all your info but you get so see how you would look as a cloud so prob worth it?

Best views of the city. The open-air roof deck is the best, there's nothing blocking your view! Even better than the ESB!
You must do it at day and night. Best rooftop of all NYC. Forget the Empire State. Here you don't have steel bars to take pictures. Forget to bring your tripod. You can't pass with it.

I was here for opening day of the buffalo shrimp in the upstairs bar -- highly recommended, tho you only get 3. FYI - Beware if dudes in suits talking tennis.
