The modern construction of architect Sauerbruch Hutton shows art after 1945. On three levels, the works of selected artists of the 20th Century and contemporary art are exhibited.
The Lenbachhaus owns more than 1,000 works of "Der Blau Reiter". This is comparable to the exhibitions at Centre Pompidou and Guggenheim. Especially Kandinsky fans will get their money's worth.

Nice terrace but in winter time the smell inside is unbearable. The food is boring, too. BUT it's a great place to have a coffee and satisfy your shopping mania on a SUNDAY at the KARE exhibition!
