The best place to buy groceries if you live above 96th; make the trip down on the bus. Amazing selection incl. fresh baguettes, great produce, local & specialty/imported products. What's not to love?

Great for produce, cheese, bread, groceries, and prepared foods. Go to Citarella or Whole Foods for quality butcher / seafood though. They are a bit better for those.
Great stop for a thrifty, solo meal. Many tasty, healthy options & nice place to sit, eat & watch 7th Ave. Wouldn't want it as my only grocery, though.

Pick up fresh imported food and italian brands you won't find elsewhere. The homemade porchetta is to die for. Forget the other "Italian" stores in NY, here Italians living in NY come buy groceries!

This is where I get my juices! I've never seen a grocery store with more organic, natural foods, supplements and products. They also have pre-made sandwiches, pastas, soups and a juice bar.
