Killer combination Cabbage soup (it's fantastic) & 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Ask 4 bread brought to the table; enough delicious meat in the Brent's 1/2 to make two regular 1/2 sandwiches.
Everything is fabulous at Brents. Some of my favorite matzoh ball soup, corn beef Ruben, chopped liver, sweet-and-sour cabbage soup, and mushroom barley soup,
tom ka kai soup is so good :)
The pork noodle soup is, quite simply, rockin'. The flavor to slurp ratio is off the charts.

Absolutely the best steamed vegetable dumplings in the world. Must make a concoction of dipping sauce out of everything in plastic bin on table. Spicy shrimp noodle soup feeds two and is amazing.
The Pan Fried Meat Dumpling were great, the Wor Wonton soup truly the best I've ever had. The Scallion Pancakes were great too

Food is just okay, I've definitely had better viet sandwiches, egg rolls, and pho. westernized, lacks authenticity in taste. The place is also small, seats up to 14 total.
I Love the bahn mi deli special! Beware of the jalapeños! Pho is alright nothing special. Friendly atmosphere, but not great for groups.

My husband and I (as well my vegetarian cousin when she visits from Santa Cruz ares) love Urbane Cafe when we're looking for a casual place with delicious, FRESH sandwiches, salads, soup and desserts.
Urbane Café can't be beat for casual lunch or dinner that's FRESH and made-to-order by a friendly staff. Their fresh-baked fococcia bread is yummy as are the salads and sandwiches!
