Great spot to drink during First Friday's in Oakland. Ask for a cocktail menu and try the Vesper like cocktail that has vodka infused with habanero as its base.
Cocktails on tap like the whiskey buck are solid and affordable. Then head to the backyard to sip under the giant redwood strung with lights. This tree is so tall you can see it from blocks away.
Best Bloody Mary's!! They make them from scratch.

Big draft selection and solid cocktails. Come here for Sunday Football because the ground floor patio is huge and the TVs are wide. They lovingly accept dogs as long as they stay on leash.

Their brunch is awesome! Bottomless food AND mimosas. The service is lacking a little, but everyone is still pretty nice, the drinks are delicious and stiff, and pretty good sized. Good music, too.
Wines are of course great but go with one of the great cocktail selections for a fun start.
