La Fontaine de Mars is one of the oldest traditional brasseries in Paris since 1908. Exceptional cuisine most notably : the foie gras, the duck confit, and the cassoulet. Highly recommended!

Oh my God. The duck confit was amazing! It goes with chips but I asked for it to be replaced by fries and it was just perfect. Capped my meal with a cappuccino. One of the best lunches I had!

We had the perfect Val's Night at Le Chenin (booked ahead). We were made very welcome, staff used some English, walked us through menus. Stunning food (duck confit was OMG). Gave us a rose as we left!

The duck confit was perfect! The duck (canard) wasn't too salty, and it was nicely accompanied by some excellent herbed red potatoes.

A charming place on the Ile Saint-Louis. Homey atmosphere. It's small and quintessentially Parisian. The food is fantastic, especially the cheese plate and the chocolate mousse.

Open until late, lots of tables, comfortable atmosphere, young crowd, reasonably priced. Duck confit was great, and the cheese course portions were generous. Great hang out spot.

The duck confit is fantastic! I would absolutely recommend it to everyone, regardless of whether or not you like Duck. I'm not personally a duck fan, but this has it changed my opinion on this food.

Large, crowded canteen-like bistrot with reasonably-priced fare. Try the duck confit (confit de cannard) or grilled rump steak and fries!
The escargot is a must of course, but the duck confit and steak w/ fries are a good follow up!
