Get almond-crusted french toast!! BEST french toast ever, even better than Sabrina's french toasts. It's perfect, not too heavy or overly sweet. Shrimps and grits and brussels sprouts were great too.
Try the Beat Salad. The beets are sweet and the sugary walnuts contrast the goat cheese nicely.

Shawarma was more chunks of meat when I expected slices but the portions were large & prices cheap for savory food. Hummous was a little bland but falafel was excellent.

Crazy good middle Eastern food, Would recommend the kafta and hummus. Staff was also very courteous and helped pick out a hookah flavor
If I compared Amasi hookah to other hookah lounges I'd put it on top of that list. Not because they serve great food and hookah but cuz there is no many in Philli. I like their 🐥 shawa. sandwich👍🏻

The Afghani pudding, firnee, was amazing. Their rice dishes were super tasty. The appetizer, Aashak it was called I think, was also delicious.
