Lots of ball diamonds, a lake, picnic areas and playground equipment make it a nice destination. Parking can be tough when people use the park as a SEPTA park and ride replacement to save $1.

Gorgeous in the spring when flowers are actually blooming
Beautiful & clean walking/biking trails and separate trails to ride your horse. Lots of picnic tables and parking is close to where the trails start. Overall a beautiful park!!!

This is the best spot to pick up food for a picnic in Rittenhouse Square. It's got a great selection of fine cheeses & meats - ask the counter for samples/suggestions. Get the San Benedetto peach tea.
