Such a beautiful park smack dab in the middle of perhaps the most beautiful residential neighborhood in Phoenix. Golf course, pool, playgrounds and a small Amusement Park! Water features throughout!

Phoenix is home to the largest municipal park in the world. South Mountain Park and Preserve covers more than 16,500 acres and has more than 50 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails.
If you go over by the West side, near 3rd ave during midday, it's a great place for a picnic. Open air grass and you can catch a good breeze. Also, just a small walk from the library.
So happy to see COOK Phoenix back again. A great event to taste delicious food and drink tons of fabulous beer!

This is my favorite park downtown. There is so much history here. I recommend walking around the former Indian school campus and reading about its history.
Loved the park for the Scottish Highland Games...Its so calming sitting by the lake and watching the ducks.. See you next year at the Highland Games
Great spot to start off a long bike ride or hike with your dog. Or come with your family and enjoy a walk and a picnic under the ramadas.
This loop trail is part offers great views of Piestewa Peak and other secluded areas near the trailhead.

All the trails are fun, challenging and scenic.
I love hiking some of the trails on South Mountain. The one off 24th street is probably my favorite, but you will need someone strong to help you with some parts of it. The trail off Central too.
Get here before 8 if you want parking!
Paris Texas burger was delicious.. Like having a picnic at the park. Ice cream sandwich for desert.. Yummmm!!

this is my go-to for burgers. they're grass-fed and amazing. also worth mentioning are the deviled eggs, the kale salad and the chips. can't go wrong here

Fish & meat selection at the counter are super fresh Brought home White Sea Bass, Tilapia, & Chicken kabobs!
Great place to grab a sandwich, just $2.99 for the basics, a little extra for cheese or avocado. They are not the fastest sandwich makers, however, so be prepared to wait a little bit.
Nice playgrounds, duck pond, and a public pool we plan to check out in the summer.
Saturday Farmers Market is awesome here. Been going to it for yrs.
Great place for a pick up game of basketball, football, softball or soccer. Just make sure you go in time to get a spot before someone else and kicks you out.

Circumference trail to Ridgeline and back on Circumference is a perfect 4 mile loop with great panoramic views.

A membership pretty much pays for itself the first time you come. My family of 9 comes several times a year whether it be to have a picnic or see an animal we didn't see last time. Great nature walk!
Summer Camp Zoo is wonderful! Excellent program; my kids come back every year and love it.
I donated one of my eight male lions to this zoo. A word of caution: He understands Spanish, French and Catalan. So don’t say anything derogatory about him.
