Food is great..You can't go wrong. But I love the grilled octopus.The stuffed potato is delicious. If it's cold out, definitely get the soups.My favorites are the chupe de camaron and parihuela.
Opt for seafood dishes, like arroz con camarones, over too well-done meaty entrees.

Big praise to both the lamb shank and the seafood paella. Not a huge menu but everything we had was great. Skip the pisco sour tho, unless you're really curious. (Paella pictured)

A small but cozy environment :) the people who worked there were very friendly, and we even got some red wine on the house. I will return soon.
Ceviche is pretty good. Go for breakfast on weekends. So good!! Chicharrones are delicious! And then some mazamorra morada for dessert. One of the best I've had.

This is my favorite Peruvian rotisserie chicken in Astoria! The chicken is moist & flavorful. The green sauce is so yummy! Unlike other spots, their fried rice is vegetarian - scallions & eggs :)
The chicken is good and so are the sweet plantains. The sauce they give you for the chicken is excellent. But $2 for a can of soda is robbery. Takeout only here and buy your drinks elsewhere.
This is a no frills establishment,so take it to go. Get a Combo with chicken, rice and beans or the Lomo or Pollo Saltado - chicken or beef sauteed with fries, onions, tomatoes, secret sauce on rice.
The chicharron sandwich is tasty. The side salad is nice too.
