tip : the basement (with some of the best restaurants) is accessed via a stairwell from the street to the right of the main entrance and "Golden Shopping Mall" sign.
Go in the basement food court for some amazing food. Cheap, fast and good. These stalls are so much better than any food truck in the city!
Dosas in the basement of a Hindu temple. Get something starchy, something spicy, and something sweet (mango kulfi!). Pass a serene moment in the temple upstairs afterwards.

More space then BKB Gowanas, more community events than the Cliffs. Workout area in the basement is great if you also want to lift or throw some kettlebells around. Showers and Sauna for after.

My fave @ New World Mall food court after Tea Twitter (sadly) left. Get the Taiwanese Beef Noodle or the Roast Pork Noodle w/ the Tea Egg- you’ll be able to top off both w/ unlimited pickles.

AMAZING food here. Dumplings in the corner are deeelish. Lamb was our favorite. And the szechuan place where you choose your ingredients is EXCELLENT
Massive, energetic food court popular with Flushing's younger eaters. Stalls are more glitzy here, and while we don't love everything, a few stand out well.
If you can't pay your bill, they make you chop wood for the pizza oven in the basement.
Final verdict/tip: The Sicilian with pepperoni is my favorite, followed by Mama's Style. Get Mama's (or any normal crust pie) crispy if you don't want it to go limp.
Sac's is my favorite restaurant in Astoria. The pizza is second-to-none (I order mine well-done), as are the homemade pastas and gnocchi (Mama's lasagna!), the asparagus and prosciutto, and much more!
