As mentioned in another tip, the softer bread makes all the difference compared to a nearby Vietnamese sandwich spot. Less chance cutting the corners of your mouth or suffering if you've chapped lips.
Delicious banh mi and garlic bread. Banh mi is even better than Huong Lan. The bread is crispy, crunchy and perfect.
The Banh Mi is gourmet and hella good.
Their Bahn Mi is the best in Sacramento, hands down.
Pizza, beer & sandwiches! The wait staff are great too!
There is a fantastic selection of beers and they have also quite a lot of really good snacks to have along with that beer, although portions are very large so bring a friend and sit outside.
Note: The restaurant is now Mai Kitchen. The menu is now smaller, but the food much better than before, and remarkably inexpensive. I will be back.

Happy hour is a good value... Well drinks $4/wine $5/martini $6...(they use Seagrams vodka...f.y.i. The pork sliders were tasty, a tad bit spicy. The trio of fries is enough for 4.

It is crazy expensive. Appetizer was small (3 pcs.), and their vegetarian pizza tasted terrible and made me sick the next day. I'd rather go to BJ's next door from now.
