The Bún salad is great with tofu. The careful French fusion here makes for an intriguing menu. As a bonus (or requisite, perhaps) they place an emphasis on local ingredients. The space is cool, too.

The best Thai food in Saint Paul. Great for pick-up orders too! The green curry and tahm kha gai are particularly excellent.
Lot of Minnesota beer and Up North classics. Love the garlic cheese curds and porketta sandwiches. Lot of locals here, but if you're not they'll make you feel like one.
10 outta 10. Porketta is awesome and the pasties are fantastic. Either is a great choice.
What's not to like
2014: In a sea of mediocre fried things, Pretzel Curds stand out. The aggressively crunchy pretzel crust provides a nice counterpoint to the squeaky fried curds within. Tasty. Read more.

2013: Start your day with Deep-Fried Bread Pudding, evocative of a good french toast. The inside was lovely and custardy; the outside caramelized and crisp. It was everything bread pudding should be. Read more.
Dan Dan Noodles, General Tao Tofu, Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken, Shanghai Juicy Buns and scallion pancake are all amazing. For VERY spicy, try the boiled pork in Szechuan hot sauce.
The General Tso's Tofu is absolutely amazing. It's what every tofu wants to be when it grows up.
