Stayed in the North Tower with Balcony (non in South Tower) The trolley can be annoying, but the view is amazing. Service and food is excellent. The wifi is expensive and doesn't work well at all.
If you are staying at the hotel, definitely try to upgrade your room to the Surf Pad. The view of the ocean and the balcony are totally worth it!

Pros: rooms with balconies overlooking the courtyard. Cons: Thin walls, the smell of old furniture, mold in the bathroom, a shower head built for someone 5' tall, small rooms.

Ask for a table next to the balcony and enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The cove is also a favourite spot for the local seals.

Best hotel ive ever stayed in. Free wifi, continetal breakfast(which ranged) balcony view of the harbour. Reasonable prices. Good location, right near food places, shopping etc. Definately stay here.

The Arlo Guthrie concert was WONDERFUL. The venue was beautiful, cozy, perfect for a folk performer. Will definitely be back.
Built in 1924, this was originally a grand movie palace. It would later be converted into housing for the U.S. Navy during World War II. It was designated a historic site in 1972 and restored in 2005.

One of my favorite hotels to stay in SD. 4th floor balcony. That's where I always request to stay. I like to indulge an a cigar or two, with a drink and warm weather do it right outside the room?!?

Cute little B&B RIGHT on the water. Walking distance from the museum, lots of restaurants, and of course the ocean! Spend the day out on the town and come back to watch the sunset from your balcony!
This small Inn is the only place in La Jolla that has an uninterrupted view of the ocean. Most rooms have a view of the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing in the shore all night.
One of those best little places that you'll want to cone back to. Great views, nice location and homely feel in the rooms.
A row on balcony has lots of legroom
Sat in the front row of the lower balcony. The view was absolutely incredible! Much better than the more expensive seats below the stage. Be warned, very limited leg room in the front row
