Morgane Cattin: Delicious cokctails and stylish place
A.J. Brahm: Trendy. Dimly lit. Craft cocktails. Awesome art, even better decor.
Tim Erdmann: Meat & Cheese Board, Tabbit pie, Sliders, deviled eggs
Dannie Moo: Looks very hip, kinda like a new age sports bar with dining tables. Good & fast service. All you can eat basic is 21 premium is 26. Oh and T. Mars is the best server and very handsome ;)
Alex Wrecks: Trendy decor and music, although the layout reminds me of pig feeding troughs. Marinated pork ribs and beer lava lamps are awesome. There's tons of parking and its across the street from karaoke
insta SHINOBI: Great beer selection, amazing KBBQ, and big screen TVs (it's like a AYCE sports bar)

Chaise Kahlenbeck: Definitely trendy. Great burgers with diverse options. Shoestring fries with special sauces hit the spot, but don't sleep on the beet chips that come with the order. Large beer selection.
Serious Eats: Head here for tasty Aussie-style burgers loaded up with pickled beets, fried egg, and pineapple rings.

Gastropub · Little Italy · 198 tips and reviews
Victoria Lo: Great place with hipster staff. Clientele seems to be a bit on the 30s yuppy side though :-/ Where are the "young and trendy?" Otherwise, food and service are superb. Get the broiled oysters!!
Jessica Chairez: They don't serve vodka so people will "try new things"...hip spot! Only drink one cocktail though if you're a vodka drinker!! Awesome punch bowls served with cute yea cups :)
Amanda Reuss: A hip gastropub with unique decor and notable craft cocktails. If you are in the mood for a nightcap after dinner, find your way into False Idol speakeasy. Hint: check behind the walk-in cooler.
Stef!: Clean and hip decor, on top of good coffee. Go early if you want a waffle, they run out
Roger Ma: Their pour over is perfectly brewed!
San Diego Architectural Foundation: The jury believes the interior space of Coffee & Tea Collective is both simple and clean and that this small, yet well thought out space, is timeless and ripe for duplication.
