The Robalitto Soup is hands down the best minestrone I've had in SF. Best thing to do on a date: Both order soup and slit a pasta, like the vodka penne :)

Grab a glass of wine while you wait outside (and there will most definitely be a wait, this place is walk-ins only). The penne and the tortellini w/pesto are amazing, as is the tiramisu.
The salmon penne is a must try.

Owned by Francis Ford Coppola, director of The Godfather movies. The penne arrabbiata and Syrah wine, both at the waiter's recommendation, were awesome. Definitely coming back.

Nice relaxed ambiance here..Order the bruschetta and ceasar salad to start, both are so flavorful & amazing. Also recommend the lasagna and seafood pasta dishes..the tiramisu will melt in your mouth!
This restaurant was run by an Italian family for decades. Ownership, management, and all the recipes recently changed hands--and the service is better. Get the L'Ottavo fettuccine!

Awesome meal, awesome service. We had the calamari appetizer and penne ala vodka. Fresh and authentic. Portions were enough to share between my wife and I. Tiramisu was the best I'd ever had. 👍👍👍
Besides the veal parmigiana which is definitely a must have, it's got by far the best service I've ever experienced in SF.
Just about anything you order here is amazing! I had the pesto lasagne and it was light and perfection. Real Italian made from scratch pastas!!
Quite an amazing menu for lunch, their specialty, with a dinner menu 'to go' from 3:30-6:30.

Really great food with perfect seasoning! Clam chowder, garlic roasted crab, and seafood penne, and even just the complimentary bread and butter were all delicious. The tiramisu was great as well.
First time having Clam Chowder and my god I did it in style! Great restaurant overall with a great view over the harbour.
Sit by the windows during the day and watch the sea lions sunning themselves on the docks below for added entertainment.
Don't miss it! Excellent food, the burrata was extraordinary, and the Presidio neighborhood crowd always hangs out there.

I had a great meal here that now that am back in Miami I still crave. The fried calamari, clam chowder and the half crab and shrimp salad on sourdough bread. with a cold corona beer. Wish I was there.
