LOUD place, but incredible food and people... not quite right for 'romantic ambience' but certainly a hot spot for a date and drinks!
Probably the best view in Santa Monica. Ocean, mountains, and downtown. Incredible.
The Black Truffle Grilled Cheese with Crispy Onion Rings are a perfect comfort food. Pair it with a glass of wine or beer. The portion size is perfect, which makes it not over the top indulgent.
Margherita Pizza is yum. Wine is cheap. Got a good party vibe; not a quiet place for intimate chat.

The Apple cannelloni dessert is hands down the best dessert I've ever had. Lobster fettuccini was also really good, but very creamy.
Amazing pasta!!! Incredible feeling and flavors!! Ask for Tagliatelle al Ragu and Ravioli di Ricota with Broccolini al Forno !!!! You won’t regret!

Ultimately reliable Wolfgang Puck gourmet Chinese, great for special occasions. Chinois Chicken Salad famous and delicious. Romantic atmosphere.
Lobster spring rolls and the salmon are the highlights. The beef is great too, paired with a duck rice.
Opened in 1983, Chinois on Main's 30th anniversary is this year! Thank you for a wonderful 30 years.
while it might seem touristy to dine here - it is actually a very fun & gourmet (bordering on romantic place) order the Lobster - I mean it's not called the Steak now is it?

The clam chowder is legit. There are actual clams. ACTUAL CLAMS IN THEIR LITTLE CLAM SHELL!!! FREAKED ME OUT BUT TASTED LIKE A FRESH OCEAN!
