The best in town! Carrot Cake, Devils Food Cake, Sandwiches, Salads, Mocha's & Croissants. The list goes on... Just an all around fantastic place to hang out at! The barista's know what they're doing!
I had a macaroon and mocha (they were delicious), but there is just so much to choose from here. Highly recommended.

The pastries here are from Companion Bakeshop and are amazing. The croissants are as good as the ones at Tartine in SF and but a more reasonable size so you don't feel horrible after eating one!
Light roast is the dominant style, and even though that's not my favorite Verve is still one of the tastiest cups on the planet. Great pastries and a beautiful cafe.
Great iced lattes and they have Manresa (Michelin rated Los Gatos restaurant) pastries!
I love the tuna! The raspberry coconut scones are also delish!

My favorite bakery in Santa Cruz down the road from the Seymour center and the choices for lunch are sublime - the chocolate eclairs are not for sharing 😉
Blue Bottle coffee and great baked goods as well as artisan breads baked on premises. I had a cappuccino and salted fudge cookie (they were out of coconut macaroons, alas)
