The special exhibitions are always worth seeing. But don't forget about the permanent exhibitions, there always great art to see in them and they're free!

Entry is free to the museum's core exhibitions, special temporary exhibitions, Wharf 7 Maritime Heritage Centre, North Wharf and marina (to view small vessels) and Cape Bowling Green Lighthouse.
A great museum - so interesting - the special exhibitions are wellpresented with mixed media. The gift shop has really tasteful and fun and interesting things for all ages. Love this place.

Before ascending into the memorial visit the Spirit of Anzac exhibition on the ground floor. It is so interesting with great oral histories, a short film+moving memorabilia. Contemplative+profound
Free exhibition downstairs with memorabilia from Australia's involvement in various conflicts that captures the ANZAC spirit. Take the time to read the letters and diaries, incredibly moving.
