This is my fave Din Tai Fung in Taipei for its convenient location and relative shorter line. Get the shrimp wontons in chili oil. Pro Tip: there’s a Din Tai Fung app that shows your queue position

The children's bookstore on the 5th floor has a free story time on Friday nights at 7:30pm.
The 5 level is the kids area where they can enjoy reading, arts, games, and music. But usually crowded on the holidays and weekends.

Expensive but consistent and of quality. Mainly Japanese and other tourists. For this, cheaper options elsewhere - same as for Din Tai Fung. I followed Sugared & Spiced blog recommendations.

Love the set menus. Simple and just perfect.
The food is delicious but price on the higher end. The staff are very snobbish and rude. Restaurant closing time says 21:00 but often out of food by 20:00 so don't bother going there late.

Excellent pizza baked in a brick oven makes a nice and crispy crust. It's as close to authentic Italian pizza as you can get in Taipei. Trust me, I know Italian pizza.
