Alex Tsu: This is my fave Din Tai Fung in Taipei for its convenient location and relative shorter line. Get the shrimp wontons in chili oil. Pro Tip: there’s a Din Tai Fung app that shows your queue position
Gregory K.: It's a global chain restaurant in the mall A4 B2 floor level. It's very consistently good dumplings. Menu is very easy to order from with recommended items noted with *
CC: love this location more than the 101 ding tai fung. no throngs of Chinese tourists. come here to avoid the wait and enjoy fresh air

Lim Michael: The "gua bao" is yummy! Must try!!
Felix Wang: Expensive but consistent and of quality. Mainly Japanese and other tourists. For this, cheaper options elsewhere - same as for Din Tai Fung. I followed Sugared & Spiced blog recommendations.
Chai Latte: The best tea room in town! Amazing tea with Japanese style tatami room and Japanese garden. Feel like you are in Kyoto! The smell of tatami is really relaxing. Don't ever miss this spot!
Cheryl Huang: It was a historical Japanese temple with beautiful Japanese style architecture. Now it is a Taiwanese tea house. They serve tea in a tea farmer style which you drink tea in a big bowl.
Rob Nicholson: Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice food and tea too. There's a regular seating section and a shoes-off/tatami section

Hotpot Restaurant · Zhōngshān Qū · 13 tips and reviews
Noppadon Rittinaka: The best hotpot ever, incredible soup, nice ice-cream tofu, very fresh ingredients. Highly recommended.
Chee Wai Wong: Very popular hotpot place with spicy and creamy soup. The squid paste and ice cream tofu was really good. Great beef and pork choices too. Lamb was a little too “chewy” - skip that.
Derek Li: Great service and environment. Beef were fantastic. Reservation is required if you want to avoid the long wait time.
