The best tea room in town! Amazing tea with Japanese style tatami room and Japanese garden. Feel like you are in Kyoto! The smell of tatami is really relaxing. Don't ever miss this spot!
It was a historical Japanese temple with beautiful Japanese style architecture. Now it is a Taiwanese tea house. They serve tea in a tea farmer style which you drink tea in a big bowl.

The Tianmu SOGO B1 location (天母) has a waaaay shorter wait.
Probably the most expensive place in Taipei plus the lineup is long. The snow pea leaf is delicious and the xiaolongbao are ridiculously good. Stay away from the hot and sour soup though.
Everything I have had here tastes good. My favorites are the chicken liver mousse and milk fish.
Order two starters per person, three if you are hungry. Most dishes are excellent.
Orange dessert is out of this world and not to be missed!
Teahouse: Friendly service, amazing food and local tea, great view of Taipei City, highly recommended!! Order deep-fried tea leaves and sweet potatoes!

The best hotpot ever, incredible soup, nice ice-cream tofu, very fresh ingredients. Highly recommended.
Very popular hotpot place with spicy and creamy soup. The squid paste and ice cream tofu was really good. Great beef and pork choices too. Lamb was a little too “chewy” - skip that.
Great service and environment. Beef were fantastic. Reservation is required if you want to avoid the long wait time.
