The first-come, first-served guided tour on Saturday was excellent, witty and very inspiring. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the neighborhood.
A great spot to sample the local microbrewery's selection! You can bring your own food and play Jenga or cards at a table. We've always enjoyed the tour, its more of the history than a walking tour.

There's potential here with the free tours and live music, but the bartenders were so rude, it's hard to recommend.
Very interesting, come on Sundays for the live band. And there's a happy hour. Didn't do the tour, but it looked like everyone who did was happy.

Went here as part of a food tour. The ribs were amazing, specially when paired with the spiced vinegar! Trés bon!
I went here on a food tour and got to try the rib, brisket, and pulled pork. All were delicious, but unfortunately they gave both my friend and I food poisoning.

This is a great place to watch a sunset over the Eastern Manhattan skyline. You will see both the Empire State building and One World Trade Center from this park.
Ride your bike here, bring a blanket (or don't), lay in the grass and get a sweet view of Manhattan.
Watch the sunset from here as often as possible.
