Gare de NyonTrain Station • Nyon, Switzerland
A short ride from Geneve, to go exploring...
"If walls could talk," they'd probably be a helluva lot more helpful than most of the #Schipol and #KLM staff!!! #JustSayin
Aside from indifference and racist condescension of too many KLM staff, I noticed the Perfume and Cosmetics shop not only doesn't carry shades for brown and black women; they don't even wait on you.
I like the Market Food Court on Concourse D. Up the escalator, next to one of the big duty-free shops. I like the central buffet area with fresh salads and nice soup, etc..
Coming up on Denmark, SC! Close to Bamberg! Don't even think you can SEE the sign! We rolled right past the bigger, better one. So this is where you get off the train to go to Bamberg...
... Also at 2:00 in the a.m.! ☺
Potbelly's is 1-2 blocks away, but no coffee, no hot drinks! My advice (since I walked it, in the rain) is go 2-3 blocks to 12th St, NE; and go up abt 2 blocks to Ethiopian restaurant, on the right.
WMATA's not "the worst" as someone else claimed on 4sq. Try finding 7 days a week public transport in MARYLAND or VIRGINIA, or back in Iowa, Indiana and Montana- where these people are from.
Learn something new about Wadhington, DC in the Washingtoniana collection, and the Black Studies' rooms, both on third floor.
Try Granetta Coleman's THAI MASSAGE. Wow.
Books, health supplements, African clothes, meeting space, and entrance to Khepra's Juice Bar.
Noise level is horrible. The pounding NOISE. Would that be the "music"?!
LOSERS. You don't bring lemon. Then you take away the glass of water??? WTH.
So far?? Lousy service! Two guys, 20-30ish... Can't even deliver water!!
Hanging with B. Lester, owner, at The B Spot, 1123 PA, SE, District of Columbia!! GREAT ART & SMOOTHIE.
I'm not at any Amtrak "office". I'm on a darn train!! Sheesh..
Very convenient to Amtrak & Metro (side by side), but ATM in hotel biz center charges $3.50!!! Rip. Off.
Just make me QUEEN of the Amtrak train, instead of "mayor".
Historic area of VA. I'd love to find some of my family history! And yet, seems a deeply unfortunate attachment to the confederacy- i.e., to slavery
