Go to Krispy Kreme when the neon "Hot Doughnuts Now" sign is lit up (typically at night) and get a dozen glazed doughnuts. They'll just about melt in your mouth
If you come after midnight, expect it to be loud with obnoxious drunks. I always tip well to make up for their poor treatment of the waitstaff.
