      It's roots might be NJ, but this place makes the best cheesesteaks & subs around. Order the California Chicken and add peppers & onions. Also serves breakfast early. They even have Taylor ham.

      Easy to get to off the 6 (20 min from Grand Central) and entirely worth the trip. Beautiful building and timely special exhibits like Hurricane Sandy photography and City as Canvas. Shop is cool too.

      Greasy spoon HQ. The egg's nest lives up to the hype. Spectrum of hot sauces available. Bloody Mary was a lot of ice. Sourdough toast is as fresh as expected in the bay. Plenty of seating.
