The Livermore Valley Wine App is a guide to the wineries in the Livermore Valley AVA. The app is a free download through the Apple app store (Android version coming soon), and also has listings for local Livermore wine events, restaurants and other activities for wine tourists. You can download it at the link below. We'll be using this page to provide touring guides to the wineries and other activities around the valley, and give tips to Foursquare users that we know from our work with the wineries. Look for us as we're also using Foursquare around Livermore, and tweet us if you have any suggestions yourself.

On the outskirts of Livermore, ranging from Sunol through Niles Canyon to Castro Valley. Out of the core Livermore Valley, but still part of the AVA and making good wines.

Nine wineries on the west side of Livermore. Las Positas just moved into the neighborhood (taking the old Deer Ridge Vineyards location). A good mix of small owner managed and large wineries.

Many of the wineries in Livermore are small enough that most times you stop in, you'll be able to run into the winemaker. These are great opportunities to meet the spirit and soul of a winery.
