Came w a groupon, -$20!
Meeting a friend for dinner. Long line to order, long wait to get food...why does half of the staff in the kitchen look so bored?!
<3 Whole foods. especially this one, with all the hot food. Produce always looks amazing. A tad expensive, but it's WF. I have an unhealthy obsession with their Almond Milk.
ordered a mocha frappuccino here--not a fan, tastes like powder. Giant cookies are tasty though
Awesome coffee--my reg is a soy mocha latte. Great breakfast sandwiches (i <3 ham egg cheese), almond croissants, and lunch sandwiches are great. Gotta love the "Sophie's favorite"!!!
shopping with the roommates. Might be a woman, but I was not made to shop. Luckily Tysons has sofas scattered around the mall--suppose they're for the husbands/bfs/other guys, but i'm claiming one.
sign up for a VIC card--it really adds up! I've saved around $100 in the last 9 months
shack burger ftw. waaaaaaay better than 5 guys. Though I'm a SoCal girl, so still an in-n-out loyalist.
Open until midnight. Tasty, if a bit pricey. Also great for brunch :)
I always order the same: boneless chicken, no salad, rice + chickpeas. spinach is only so-so, i think, but not many other options.
thick noodles FTW! niu rou mian, zha jiang mian, xue cai rou si mian...all great stuff. also, get a million of those side dishes. they're tasty! (and cheap!)
be careful what combination you get--in my mind there's no way the eggplant can "go well" with either curry sauce. tasty, not as much food as I would have liked, but gotta try it once, right?
two of us shared a whole chicken and 3 sides. I can eat a LOT when I want to, but in this case: Chicken: 1, Jenn: 0. very tasty, great value.
Favorite dishes in no particular order: 5-spice fried "chicken", radish cake, jap. skewers, hot hot shabu shabu, curry, rice bowl, wonton noodle, golden nugget... list goes on and on love this place!
