Kathleen Nemec: I recommend for the novice to start at a 1/2 way point like at Dempster or Old Orchard Road. Take plenty of water. Skokie Lagoons are very nice with the leaves changing during the Fall season.

Kathleen Nemec: Wonderful restaurant is The Seasons of Long Grove. The food is excellent. Atmosphere is so inviting. When they have their festivals it can be alot of fun. Like Oktoberfest, Strawberry Festival, etc.

Kathleen Nemec: A very happy enviroment, very nice clean pub. Food delcious, not mention the hospitality.
