Quite ok Beijing food. Just ok.
A real gem hidden in the neighborhood. The left side is a sushi bar and the right hand side a restaurant. The sushi bar is more expensive but far better.
Good ambience. The backyard is especially nice. But just ok food. And quite expensive.
An oasis in the Xintiandi madness. Only problem is when the hotel is full, the breakfast turns into absolute madhouse. I was asked to share tables. And it has happened quite a lot lately.
Apparently this is a place for celebrity watching. If this is the case, the celebs have a bad taste for coffee, food and service.
The smelly fish is the speciality here. If you are game, it is actually quite nice. Also try the spicy beef (小炒肉), the household dish is surprisingly well done here.
Breakfast for the whole house: RMB 42. The pickle and hair in the soup are free.
Probably one of the best fish & chips in town. Fish is really fresh.
Great restaurant but really bad service. We were eating at 9:15pm. The staff started Vacuuming. we promptly got the check. Then the bell boy told us that the guy calling cab had knocked off.
Amazing facility, terrible food, non-existent services. What a shame.
Love the Xindalu, the Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor. In my view one of the best Shanghainese restaurants in town.
