Barely a line at 2pm on a Monday!
A house created to look like a farm from the 1930's-1940's. You (and your kids) can try out a lot of things (like the sewing machine and nutcracker). And we had it to ourselves (in December).
Very friendly service, especially for a McDonald's. Also, the first time I have ever seen Mennonites in a fast food restaurant...
I tried Cafe Metro (on the other side of the DoubleTree) - the lattes here are better.
I just ordered a drink from a touchscreen - much easier than trying to remember options or answer a bunch of questions. (It didn't hurt that I got it for free with a coupon!)
Good enough for an overnight near the airport. One complaint - there are no elevators. There were no non-smoking rooms on the ground floor when we arrived, so my husband's arthritic knees suffered.
Free wi-fi, free soda refills. The playlist is a little short, though - if you sit here for an hour like we did, you might hear "Pink Cadillac" three times!
My husband and I have loved Baja's since the 1990's. Try the Carne Asada plate or burrito, the nachos, the pico de gallo and carrots at the salsa bar, and then banana flautas for dessert.
If you are connecting from Hawaiian to United, double-check your ticket and itinerary. Our initial flight got changed to a later one that would have made us miss our connection.
All-you-can-eat sushi includes some delicious specialty rolls!
