You have to walk behind the waterfall to see the inscriptions of the famous speeches by MLK Jr.
Behind the waterfall are the inscriptions of some of MLK Jr's speeches, while just above the waterfall is a great vista of the SFMOMA and part of SF's downtown skyline.
Later in early 1970's the building fell in disrepair and film director Francis Ford Coppola purchased the building to help restore it, setting up a business inside where it still remains today.
This distinctive copper-green Flatiron style building was completed in 1907, and was designated as a San Francisco city landmark (#33) in 1970.
Just tried to redeem an in-store Foursquare special and it seems that even the managers don't know about it, and denied my discount, lame :/
You can now switch to either the downtown or uptown sides without having to re-enter the station (you used to not be able too until recently) very useful instead of waiting until 168th to do it next.
