Lake Cumberland has more visitors per year than the Grand Canyon. It offers over 1000 miles of lake shore but many never get to experience the great hiking it offers as well. Its worth the hike!

Well known for Lake Cumberland. If you head downtown you will find several Boutiques that have recently developed over the last few years.

A small town where all the goods are just off Main St. If you are going to be in Stanford these are must check out places that make Stanford unique and a town worth visiting
"For those that prefer paved paths with boundaries for kids. Gift shop, food, rafting, pets welcome on leash, moon bow (only other is in China), kid friendly. ramp paths for stroller or wheel chairs."
