The Anchor BarBar • Raleigh, United States
Cocktails sounded good, came sweet.
Great place for games and beers or wine. They only have drip coffee (at least they have coffee?)
Not sure what happened, but the buns and the fries aren't as good as they used to be. The buns were mushy (who likes mushy buns?) And the fries were greasy. The veggie patty is still the best around!
Not sure if they have vegetables, but both the grits and the biscuits are delicious
A little bougie, a little pricy, but delicious southern fare nonetheless
Best breakfast sandwich on Hillsborough Street, hands down.
Get a brunch bloody Mary--best $3.25 you can spend on a Sunday
Best southern-style donuts. Period. The cake donuts will literally melt in your mouth.
Fried nopales tacos are perfect for the vegetarian in your life
Well crafted food to go with the best craft beer selection downtown
Ask for a mocha macchiato. 2oz sipping chocolate: 2oz espresso: 1 oz steamed milk.
Super hip bar with interesting cocktails and a good beer list (on the wall). Great spot for hanging out. Great spot for a date
Outdoor seating is like a terrace nature walk or sculpture garden
Everything I tried was good: Bean rices empananda tilapia Yucca fries plantains everything
