Frank O'Brien: If you want fresh air with exercise and splendid views, this is the place. From the car park area, there are a number of walks to suit all walks.
Frank O'Brien: It did have an iconic tree lined avenue to it’s door but Storm Ophelia has devastated the appearance. It’s doubtful that they will be replaced nor if so, would I be alive to see their magnificence.
Frank O'Brien: The main beach on this stretch of the Copper Coast. There are shops, car parking, caravan parks & facilities for those visiting the beach.
Frank O'Brien: Stradbally Cove is about 200 metres west of the village. The beach narrow at the the start but long and very flat . This can catch people out when the tide comes in. No facilities, loved by families.
Frank O'Brien: A small cove off a side road from R675 between Clonea & Stradbally. It’s tidal and there are no facilities on site. Used by those who wish for peace & quiet.
Frank O'Brien: Lovely quiet place, at least when I visited in the afternoon , relaxing with a drink or a snack , watching the ferries & yachts come & go.
