Alright, the best part being the 'ride' around old Jorvik and the info at the end about the archaeological analysis of skeletons.
The tour (with David) was worth having for some background on the architecture and the idiosyncrasies of the minster. Look out for the recent bosses on the ceiling, including one of Neil Armstrong!
Nice chilled hippy place to have some healthy food. Under threat of closure when we were there, so they're fund-raising to buy the building.
A nice walk. Worth climbing the hill to Inverleith House to get views over the city. Also the pond next to the pagoda is very tranquil.
Such a beautiful cinema in Screen 1. A Picturehouse venue if you're a member, meaning discounted tickets.
Lovely free gallery, usually a varied range of exhibits.
Worth popping in just to have a look around this themed pub.
Yummy curries at a reasonable price, and veggie-friendly too...even if you do have to sit outside in the chilly weather.
Where else but a uni bar would you find the walls filled with bookcases?
