Tourist hot spot, but the long lines move surprisingly fast and the wait is never too long. Their kimchi is RIDICULOUSLY garlicky and pungent – there's a reason they give you free gum at the end...
There is a second store not 5m away. The owners are the same but the menu, and more importantly the taste is a bit different. Facing the store, go to the one to the left. The lomein is good.

Best 'Gomtang (Beef bone soup)' in Seoul but poor service. If you can eat innards, get a 'Teuk (Special)' size. Pour a soup of Kimchi in Gomtang is a nice try. Ask your Kimchi soup refill if dried.

Dongdaemun Peacemarket is wholesale market about clothing. If you want to buy clothes at a reasonable price, I recomend you to go to this market.
Cheap, delicious and very famous in Samcheong-dong. Always full table and people lining up for take-away. Fried rice crackers 1000₩, spicy rice cakes 2000₩, fish cake 500₩, iced rice punch 1000₩.
While you can find lotsa different goods here from clothes to food, it is no Myeongdong or Dongdaemum, no trendy stuffs here.

Decent coffee, but I think everything there is a bit overpriced. I would only really suggest going here if you care to visit a place unique in Seoul since all other locations are in NYC.
The drinks are so so and a bit pricy , but the atmosphere here is great. It's like they ransacked a chanwook park set and decorated the place. The rooftop is also nice in the spring and fall.
