Montevideo, Uruguay70 Tips
Among the best in Montevideo
Decor zero. A few tables on the terrace and nice peopel running the place. For 200 pesos per person you can use the pool. Nice biking and walking, especially to zoo and beach area nearby. Food OK
Excelent cocktails and fun atmosphere for 40-55 crowd which is what the city was needing. Singles, couples, and groups.
Excellent, locally produced beer but seating area not very cosy
The surgery rooms are amazing; straight out of a Sci-fi film. Worth finding something that needs operating. Old bedrooms not much fun though at 500USD PER NIGHT
Nothing special in terms of decor or service. Only have Heineken. Meat OK
Best fruit juices in Montevideo. Excellent terrace and friendly service. On a sunday day cannot beat it for lunch
Nice owners but lacks love and looks pretty awful. Limited menu and the whole thing feels very little like something you would find in France but I wish them luck.
Best molleja in town, served with mushroom sauce and rucola. Amazing. Really excellent meat and good service; pity the decor is soul-less.
New gourmet deli offering warm food at lunch, pastries during the day and deserts
Our favourite parrilla in Montevideo. Almost on a par with Palenque but closer and with very friendly staff
